    Canon has just revealed three new PowerShot cameras adding to its line of point-and-shoot digital cameras. The newest PowerShot models are the SX150 IS, ELPH 310 HS, and ELPH 510 HS.

    The PowerShot SX150 IS is a 14.1 megapixel superzoom camera equipped with 12x optical zoom, 28mm wide-angle lens, 720p HD video, Intelligent IS, and Smart AUTO. This camera will be available in the beginning of September with a msrp of $250.

    The PowerShot 510 HS and the PowerShot 310 HS are both ultra compact cameras that come equipped with Canon's new HS System for enhancing image quality in low-light situations. Both include a 12.1 megapixel high-sensitivity CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 Image Processor. The 510 HS is being referred to as the world's thinnest digital camera with a 12x optical zoom and a 28mm wide-angle lens. Meanwhile, the 310 HS is equipped with 8x optical zoom on a 28mm wide-angle lens. Both cameras will be available in early October with the PowerShot 510 HS starting at $350 and the PowerShot 310 HS at $260.
