    Since 1990, Canon has recycled, reused or recovered toner cartridges, collecting a grand total of approximately 220,000 metric tons. The recycling operation now stretches a total of 23 countries worldwide.

    Panasonic Finally Acquires the Majority of Sanyo

    Panasonic became the proud owner of a majority of Sanyo stock today at the cost of approximately 4.6 billion for 50.2 percent of Sanyo's stock.


    Panasonic is now further established as one of the world's largest electronics makers while making Sanyo a subsidiary of the electronics giant.     Sigma Introduces Firmware Update Ver.1.03 For DP2

    Sigma Corporation has made available for download a firmware Ver.1.03 update for Sigma DP2 digital camera users*.
    The firmware update should be applied to any DP2 camera that has Ver.1.02 or lower. It is useful for decreasing the intermittent camera freeze under certain conditions, as well as improving the accuracy of the Auto White Balance feature.
